We started the summer semester with Valentine's Day twist!

On Monday, February 14, the whole Academy was decorated with balloons and hearts. The students and the teaching and administrative staff were dressed in red that day. This day was full of joy and love. The children learned about Valentine's Day traditions worldwide and created hearts out of salt paste or glycerin, learning about the chemical and physical properties of bodies through hands-on activities.

Additionally, on that day, we combined the celebration of Valentine's Day with the Day of Good Word - kind words were waiting for teachers and students. We also paid special attention to feelings, saying kind words, and building a warm attitude towards others. This day fits perfectly with the Montessorian education for peace. We show that being friendly and kind to others changes the world, so it is worth remembering not only on holidays.
